Johnny Cash - Hurt

Another video (& song) I've found quite affecting is the one for Johnny Cash's cover of the NIN track "Hurt", directed by the master Mark Romanek.

SMM & WIFF

_
Supermarket Musical Massacre is making its American debut at the Women's International Film & Arts Festival in Miami in just a few days. It's screening on Sat, Feb 28 2009, 7:30 pm at the Fontainebleau Hotel (which is presumably in Miami). SMM is actually the only Australian film showing at the festival which is a real honour for us. (You can find out more here.)

So if you happen to be in Miami on the 28th get on down and check it out! They never asked us to send over a screener tape so fingers crossed they'll use the DVD and there won't just be seven minutes of black screen when SMM is supposed to be showing.

A big thanks to everyone over at WIFF in Miami for their selection and interest in our film!

Bowerbirds - In Our Talons

A stunning video directed by Alan Poon from Canada. For me, this is how the best music videos should be. Not only is it visually stunning & well suited to the music, this video provokes an emotional response and left me feeling quite moved. Enjoy.

Perhaps more so than on any other project I've work on, this video was truly a team effort.
